We inspire, educate, and elevate through powerful choral performances, collaborative projects, and accessible outreach programs. By commissioning new works, mentoring emerging artists, and engaging diverse audiences, we celebrate the transformative power of vocal music.
Cardinalis is the flagship professional ensemble of Choral Guild Kansas City, pairing emerging artists in an apprenticeship model with accomplished professional singers from across the Kansas City region. Founded in 2015 by Anthony J. Maglione, Cardinalis has earned a reputation as one of the area’s premier choral ensembles, collaborating with internationally recognized artists and organizations including the Mark Morris Dance Group, the Boston Camerata, and the Grammy®-nominated St. Tikhon Choir. Known for its artistic excellence and innovative programming, Cardinalis presents compelling performances in both traditional and non-traditional spaces and continues to expand its regional and national profile, including the recording of its first commercial album.
